Our products are unique, of a
high calibre and marketable primarily to Maori and Pacific families. A personal alternative to what is currently being
offered in the market place.
There is a distinct difference we believe in mass production to
genuinely handcrafted Waka that makes for priceless,
irreplaceable products. We will stand by this timeless craft passed onto
us through our Whakapapa (Lineage) and Tipuna (Ancestors) as our guiding
strength in what makes our business stand apart from others.
Initially our focus is in supplying Quality
Handcrafted products throughout Aotearoa (New Zealand) with the intention of exporting Internationally.
The industry itself is very strong globally
and in constant demand for quality products and outstanding service - all
vital components of Te Kaihanga Maori Arts Ltd.

About Our
Company Logo

Above
Image: "Te Kaihanga Maori Arts - In Life & Death"
Our Company Logo was designed
by our nephew Caleb Broederlow aka Tainui_Moko,
who lives on the Gold Coast of Australia with his whanau (Caleb's Mum Christel
is Kere's first cousin).
Our Logo (pictured above) is
titled "Te Kaihanga Maori Arts - In Life & Death" with
the following interpretation provided by our nephew...
In life
there is death, in death there is life - interweaving.
With one
inevitably comes the other...
Life
(the top part of the logo) interweaving with death (the bottom part of
the logo)

Above Image: Main Banner Logo Design
The arched
path (ocre) that crosses through the main Banner represents Papatuanuku
(Mother Earth).
When in death
we pass through the embrace of Papatuanuku (Mother Earth) - as to the moment
we are born and given life.

Above Image: Our Business Card also
designed by Caleb
In our
Business Cards the faded logo "Te Kaihanga Maori Arts - In Life &
Death" that sits in the bottom right corner represents the Spirit, Wairua
of Life and Death - forever guiding us upon our walk while at
the same time giving continued strength, hope, faith and aroha (love).
The soft
background (lighter shade of browns/cream hues), represent warmth - even
in death we are embraced in the warmth of our Tipuna (Ancestors) who
reach within and touch us ever so gently to remind us - we are not ever
alone.
Kia Ora
